CHOITHRAM SCHOOL NORTH CAMPUS

The school provides computer aided learning to all students. There are two computer labs, one for Montessori, Pre-primary and Primary and one for Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary classes. These labs are well equipped with the latest generation of computers and printers. Besides these labs, we also have a well equipped Language-Lab, to provide students with the platform to enhance their listening and speaking skills.

The school has a modern aesthetically designed, air-conditioned auditorium. It is equipped with the latest sound and lighting systems and can accommodate up to 300 persons. The auditorium is used for various intra-school and inter- school competitions and functions. In addition, it is also a venue for various workshops, seminars and conferences.

The Science lab experience provides opportunities for students to interact directly with the material or with data drawn, using the tools, data collection techniques, models and theories of science. Our labs are well equipped with the latest apparatus. We have three well-equipped laboratories for imparting practical knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There is also one junior Science lab.

The school has a well equipped library with a large stock of books including Encyclopedias, Fiction, Reference Books etc. The library also subscribes to a number of dailies, magazines and journals. The school has also introduced the system of classroom library in classes I & II. These well equipped class libraries consist of adequate copies of 20-25 titles at least, that are carefully chosen, to cater to the specified age- group and provide a wide variety as well.

Smart Boards have been provided for Classes Nursery to XII to enhance the quality of teaching and learning through virtual exposure. Each classroom has been equipped with a wall mounted 42" plasma display screen and a computer as well as a whole range of course material incorporating the CBSE syllabus with graphics, diagrams, illustrations and animations in 3D format.

The school dining hall is on 2 levels, has a seating capacity of around 1,000 students and caters for all students, staff and other working staff. Healthy, delicious wholesome food is provided to the students. The menu is planned to maintain variety and norms of nutritional value on 8-day cycle.

The school has a fleet of 35 buses that provides a smooth and safe transport to our students. Parents are encouraged to choose the school transportation for their children. We provide the students, the safety and security to and fro school in the safe hands of the lady conductors.
